Vijay Amritraj, who is Chairman of and considered India’s Ambassador of Sports, recently concluded his first visit to the quake-hit Gujarat region of India since being appointed a ‘Messenger of Peace’ by the UN Secretary General. In the webcast on April 24th, Mr. Amritraj will address diplomats and the media, presenting a report on the most current status of relief and rehabilitation efforts in Gujarat. He will also use the occasion to speak about the growth and future of India.
